It was a lovely rain soaked Friday evening. The rains had finally arrived after several days in the mid-30's, and everyone was keen to let off some steam.

Mid Youth Crisis were playing their farewell tour, One Last Crisis; 30 years of the band, and the first time in Magandjin in over a decade.
I went out for a slice of pizza before their set, and the floor was absolutely packed when I got back. I figured it would really only be a push pit at it's most energetic, with most rusted on fans easily into their 40's-50's, but also figured it would be best to let the old heads have the floor and let them have the best chance to say their farewells rather than trying to move around the crush to get photo angles. So there's no pictures from MYC's set here.

I'm glad I got the chance to see and just soak up a little slice of australian punk rock history; both in actually getting to see Mid Youth Crisis myself, and also in seeing so many fans who are definitely not mid-youth anymore have the "good old days" be today with a band that clearly means a lot to quite a few of those who were in attendance.
