So-Cal deathcore wrecking unit SPITE announce local supports for April/May tour.
The seven-date tour kicks off Friday 24 April at The Triffid in Brisbane, with local favourites Zuko opening proceedings, before rolling through Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle with hardcore outfit Fatal Excuse. The tour then hits Crowbar in Sydney alongside metalcore up-and-comers Ends In Tragedy, Dicey Riley’s in Wollongong with deathcore group Necrosis, and Max Watts in Melbourne with metalcore band Detestor. From there it heads to Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide with experimental metalcore act Signals, before closing out on Saturday 2 May at Amplifier Bar in Perth with hardcore heavy hitters Pincer+.
Joining Spite on their Australian lap is mosh-metal band Varials, who seamlessly alternate between moments of crushing power and melodic poise, unlocking harmony in the middle of opposite poles. The band returned this year after a long hiatus with their highly anticipated fourth studio album, 'WHERE THE LIGHT LEAVES', out now via Fearless Records. The new record follows 2022’s 'Scars for You to Remember' and features 13 tracks that explore weighty themes while maintaining the sound fans know and love.
Representing Australia on what looks to be an unrelenting run, DIESECT continue their meteoric rise following the recent release of their 'HIDE FROM THE LIGHT' EP, out last May via Greyscale Records. Currently tearing through Europe alongside Crystal Lake and Miss May I, DIESECT will return home battle-hardened, continuing to cement their reputation as one of Australia’s most potent new voices in heavy music.
Spite's Australian return promises to deliver nothing short of merciless onslaught. Tickets available now via DESTROY ALL LINES
