Marrickvillainz set to drop their debut album

Inner-west Sydney sludge punks Marrickvillains are primed to release It’s A Band, Not A Bánh Mì March 11th.

Born from a loose as house party jam, Marrickvillainz is a Sydney Sludge Punk outfit delivering raw, heavy energy built on decades of shared musical history. After starting as a two-piece following a COVID-induced hiatus from a previous band, the project gained momentum when Sydney guitarist Seany D (Thy Art Is Murder) heard them rehearsing and tracked their debut album, It’s A Band, Not A Bánh Mì, in just a few days at his Brisbane studio. Now rounded out by a full lineup including Nathan Lee, the band has traded the living room for the stage, bringing single-take grit/chemistry to every show.

The launch show is on March, 14th at The Duke of Enmore. Bands from 8pm. Free entry.
